Text prediction learns and improves over time, but if you would like to turn it off, here’s how to do so in Outlook and Word. Press the TAB key to accept a prediction and the ESC key to reject it. Simply start typing in a document in Word or in an email message in Outlook, and note that predictions start appearing. The feature reduces spelling and grammar errors and learns over time to give the best recommendations based on your writing style. Text predictions help users write more efficiently by predicting text quickly and accurately. We’re excited to introduce a new Microsoft Editor feature in Word and Outlook called text predictions.
